With 18 years’ experience in Human Resources, Sharon joined Bidvest Prestige as a Recruitment Officer in 2000 and was later promoted to a Divisional Recruitment Manager where she specialised in Recruitment for the group.

Her drive and tenacity has held her in good stead in that she has successfully been promoted from General Manager: Transformation and to Divisional Executive Transformation, Recruitment & Edge Internal Training. She now holds the title of Chief Human Resources Officer.

In her current role, she ensures group compliance with the Employment Equity Act and internal policy alignment. She also assesses and influences practices and initiatives within the company that affect training, recruitment, retention, remuneration, succession planning and performance management. Sharon carefully monitors change and diversity programmes which are critical, ever-changing aspects of the business.
